What’s to expect

  • Time Series Forecasting Expertise: Apply your time series forecasting expertise to help advance the product’s capabilities and support customers on their journey
  • Product & UX Collaboration: Partner with the Product teams to identify new functionality, enhance existing features, and tailor the product experience (UX and functionality) to better meet user needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers and prospects to understand their goals and potential use cases. Guide them through an efficient and valuable PoC phase and coach them during implementation.
  • Sales Partnership: Support the Sales team throughout the pipeline by building trust and showcasing our data science capabilities. Help accelerate the sales cycle through efficient technical validation (PoC) and early-stage consultation.
  • Internal Collaboration & Thought Leadership: Serve as a Data Science thought partner for Product Managers and Engineers. Contribute technical insight throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure features are data-savvy and scalable. Also support marketing with knowledge and support to create content (Blog, Podcasts, Videos) to foster visibility, credibility and reach.
  • Organization Development & Leadership: Collaborate with the other functions on building and scaling a successful and sustainable organization. Provide your Data Science perspective and expertise to strategic discussions.

What we are looking for

Requirements:

  • Proven data science expertise and experience working with time series forecasting techniques in real-world applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into data science solutions and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working directly with customers or clients to understand and shape requirements.
  • A track record of cross-functional collaboration, especially with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Experience running PoCs, defining use cases, and driving adoption of data-driven products or platforms.
  • Ability to lead with a consultative mindset, balancing technical excellence with a pragmatic, customer-first approach.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering).
  • Experience in SaaS or B2B tech environments.
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks, machine learning frameworks, and deployment workflows.
  • Previous involvement in shaping product strategy through a data science lens.

Working at AI.S²

We offer you a salary of at least € 70.000 gross on a full-time basis if you meet all requirements. Depending on specific qualifications and experience, there is a willingness to overpay.
